The C2002 reflects the best possible solution for high capacity, product protection and incomparable flexibility. The C2002 is the only solution available on the market to produce, on the same machine, naked bags, crimped and heatsealed outer envelopes at a production speed of 600 cycles per minute. To complete the whole production cycle, the C2002 is equipped with an automatic cartoning attachment from flat blanks and is available in two different versions: from 1 to 2 rows and from 1 to 3-4 rows. A wide range of carton sizes are available and a quick size changeover is guaranteed. Non free-flowing products can be easily packed thanks to an innovative product vibrating feeding system.
IMA C2000 is one of the latest generation of machines produced by IMA in more than forty years, it represents the most advanced technical level in the sector, being capable of producing a variety of tea bag and carton styles. A tea bag without the presence of metallic material during infusion is the great advantage of this machine. New technological concepts have been applied to achieve high production efficiencies. C2000 was in fact the very first tea bag packaging machine in the world equipped with automatic splicing unit for all materials. This has been designed to minimize the time necessary to replace packaging materials and increase machine efficiency since material splicing is achieved without stopping the machine.
A wide range of carton sizes are available and a quick size changeover is guaranteed. Non free-flowing products can be easily packed thanks to the special feeder and doser. Maintenance is dramatically reduced as the C2000 is equipped with a dry transmission system. Product quality is guaranteed by an automatic weight control adjustment.

The C23 is available in three different versions: naked bags, crimped and heat-sealed outer envelope. The machine configuration can be modified according to customers’ needs and on the basis of the market demand. The crimped or heat-sealed outer envelope unit can be added to the machine at a later date and can be removed if not needed.

Fixing is achieved by two simple knots, one to fix the cotton thread to the top of the filter bag and the other to fix the cotton thread to the tag. No metal staple or additional packaging materials are required. This innovative feature avoids the presence of metallic material during infusion, whilst guaranteeing, at the same time, a discerning and functional filter bag.

The C24 is also equipped with automatic splicing unit for all packaging materials. IMA gets expressly close to customers’ needs with another brand new machine model based on the revolutionary knot technology, for a high quality, ecological tea bag at lower speed: 180 bags per minute. A small, compact machine that encompasses high technology and simple operation in a versatile, flexible and efficient solution. The IMA C28 filter bag is based on a traditional non heat-sealable double chamber bag that guarantees optimum infusion efficiency enabling the natural tea aroma to flow out.

Despite of the simple machine structure, the C28 offers the possibility to individually wrap the filter bag in either heatsealed or crimped outer envelope guaranteeing the preservation of herbs, flavoured teas and pharmaceutical infusions. To complete the cycle, the C28 can be equipped with a completely automatic cartoning attachment from pre-glued cartons or with a simpler hand removal system for counted bags for manual packaging of bags in pre-formed cartons.
